MX Sports, producer of the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by AMSOIL, is pleased to announce the 2014 Area Qualifier Schedule. Taking place in 32 states throughout the country, a total of 51 Area Qualifiers will run from February through the end of May, in preparation for the Regional Championships and the culmination of it all – the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by AMSOIL at the Loretta Lynn Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tenn.
The Area Qualifiers serve as the first step in qualifying for the world’s largest and most prestigious amateur motocross championship. The Regional Championships then serve as the next step to seed riders into the National Championship at the Loretta Lynn Ranch. Only riders who finish in a qualifying position at a Regional Championship are eligible to race the National, which takes place July 28 – August 2, 2014.
RPM Sports is pleased to announce the 2014 Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Spring Classic, presented by Fly Racing will be held, February 27 – March 2, 2014. Since 1975, amateur championship racing has been held in early March to become known as the Spring Classic. 2014 will kick off championship racing for both amateur and pro/am riders at Millcreek Mx Park in Pell City, Alabama. “Rocky Mountain ATV/MC has come on board this year as title sponsor to provide great rider support, with $100.00 hole shot awards to select classes and all riders will receive a $10.00 gas card”, stated Alex McWilliams. Rocky Mountain ATV/MC is a quality company that is willing to give back to the riders. This was important to us and our participants”, continued McWilliams.
Justin Deschamps, head of sponsorships at Rocky Mountain ATV/MC, stated; “We are excited to be involved at such a high level of amateur motocross racing. RPM Sports does a fantastic job with all its racing programs, and we are glad to be able to provide support to them and the racers.” We also welcome Fly Racing and WPS as a new presenting partner of the Spring Classic. Fly will be providing contingency and Fly Bucks to be given away at the event. The new Fly Racing rig will be on hand to provide assistance to all riders interested in gear and other products.
The Spring Classic will be a two moto format with site laps before each moto. Championship awards will be presented 1st – 8th place with Spring Classic #1 plates for the champions, along with podium interviews. We look forward to kicking off the 2014 championship season at this great event. The Spring Classic is sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association, the country’s leading amateur motorsports sanctioning body as well as the premier advocate for motorcyclists’ rights. AMA-sanctioned events represent the gold standard of motorcycle competition and enjoy exclusive access to the AMA Amateur Competition Rulebook.

December 2, 2013 (Wortham, Texas) - The 4th Annual James Stewart Freestone Spring Championship presented by Parts Unlimited and THOR brings the top amateur riders back to Texas for the largest AMA sanctioned event in the Lone Star state. The meet will be from Tuesday, March 18th until Saturday, March 22nd.
Starting today, registration opens and with fewer classes and a new class structure, Wortham, Texas will be the place come the spring of 2014. Starting with the youngest of riders, the meet will offer new classes such as a 51cc 4-5 and 51cc 6-7 age group. Other new classes include the Schoolgirl 12-16 and WMX 16+. Other changes for 2014 include a three-moto format for the 250 and 450 A Pro Sport classes. The final big change is offering a "B" Main for riders 41-80 at no additional cost.
Part of the uniqueness of the Freestone Spring Championship is that every class champion has the opportunity to ride at the "Champions Ride Day" with James Stewart himself, at his house in Haines City, Florida and as part of the American Motocross Championships, the meet gives riders a set of standardized AMA classes and rules for all ages and skill levels along with an opportunity to race on an AMA Pro national track.

As of December 16, HRD Suspension will be taking over Palmetto Motorsports Complex and completely starting from the ground up, starting with all new national level motocross tracks and completely refurbished trails.
Brandon Haas of Club Mx will be on scene building the tracks to a level everyone should enjoy! With new ownership, the facility will be known as HRD Motorsports Complex and Training Facility, offering year round training camps and weekly open ride days.
The "Soft" opening will be December 28 with the "Grand Re-opening" in January.

BLOUNTVILLE, Tenn. (Thursday, Nov. 21, 2014) – After a tremendously successful Built Ford Tough Tennessee Motocross National at Muddy Creek Raceway this past June, the prestigious Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship recently announced it would be returning to the legendary track.
The 2nd Annual Tennessee National is set to take place June 28, 2014 at Muddy Creek and will be Round 5 of the 12-round Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, which is sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing. The event will be broadcast live on NBC.
